Casino War

Casino War Game Review

'Casino War' seems to be here, there and everywhere online and it’s easy to see why. It’s an entertaining game that can produce some good wins and isn’t anywhere near as easy to play at all. This version of the game comes from Playtech who have been producing some high quality games that continue to entertain us.
The whole point of the game is simply to get a higher card than the dealer. Sounds pretty straightforward doesn’t it?

This is a game you may well have played as a child under the name ‘War.’ Not in our house though it always seemed to be ‘Happy Families’ and ‘Snap.’ Perhaps we were in the minority because it’s an incredibly popular game and Playtech have worked wonders, as they so often do, to develop the game and turn it into an online casino table game that we can all enjoy and try to win money on.

‘Casino War’ can be played from between £0.01 and £100 per game. Simply decide on a financial budget, stick to it and enjoy playing the game.

The game is played with six standard 52 card decks and as in many other card games, it’s the Ace that is the highest card. Once you’ve worked out your stake for the next game you are going to play two cards are then dealt. One goes to the dealer and the other one goes to the player. If the player’s card is higher than the one that has been given to the dealer then you win the bet. If the card dealt to the player is less than the one the dealer has been given then you lose and better luck next time.

If both the dealer and the player have the same value card then there are a few options. Either surrender and lose half your stake or go to war. To go to war you need to raise your stake by the amount that was equal to the original wager that you placed. The dealer and the player are then dealt one more card each and if you are lucky and your latest card is higher than the second one given to the dealer then you're a winner this time. You win even money on your raise and your original stake is returned to you so that's not too bad a return. It's bad news if the second card dealt to the dealer is higher than yours because you don't just lose the raise but your original stake too.

There is a tie option in this game which helps make this version of the game different from others out there. You’re paid a handsome 10 to 1 if there is a tie so always worth looking out for that bet.

Conclusion

Sometimes it's the simplest games that are the best. If you played 'War' as a child (does that make you a warchild?) then you'll love this online version. It can definitely keep you interested for a fair while and be profitable too.
