Joker Jester

Joker Jester Slot Review

It’s time to take a trip back to the days when the jester would keep the Royal Family laughing. Now they just have Jack Whitehall and Malcolm McIntyre but thankfully for them no one gets executed anymore. This is a jolly slot game from NextGen who keep on producing one great game after another.

It’s a colourful game for sure and bound to put a smile on your face when you see it. ‘Joker Jester’ is a five-reel game that has a total of 20 paylines for you to try and win some cash on. You have to decide just how many to activate and the minimum cost of playing the game is just £0.01 with the maximum £40. Simply go for a stake you feel comfortable with financially and enjoy playing the game

The symbols are a mixture of those that are theme-related and those that aren’t. There’s a castle, a lute and juggling balls. The wild symbol is the jester and can substitute for other symbols to get you some wins. There are also two bonus symbols which are the barrel and a basket of eggs that hopefully won’t get thrown at the jester. The rest of the reels are padded out with the ten to Ace playing cards, no Joker?

This is a straightforward game to play but have a look through the paytable to learn as much as possible about how to play it. That and some free games will help you when you put your real cash on the line.

Bonus Games

There’s plenty happening in this game as far as bonuses go. The Juggle Bonus can be triggered if the basket of eggs appears on the first three reels. The jester has to juggle some eggs and you have to add eggs until you think he’s reached the most he can cope with. There’s a multiplier to be won but not if he drops the eggs as that ends the round. Look out for the golden egg as this can really increase the multiplier.

If the Barrel ends up on the third, fourth and fifth reels then you get into the Barrel Bonus. Just pick the barrels to reveal prizes until the game-ending jester is revealed. I thought he was supposed to be making us happy?

The Jester Wild can be randomly awarded at any time. He’ll suddenly appear and start jumping around the wilds and turning symbols wild. That will really help create some winning combinations for you when the new-look reels are re-evaluated.

Also available in base play is a gamble feature. As usual it's of the guess the next card variety. Get the right colour to double your win or the correct suit to quadruple it. Just don't overdo this and perhaps just use it to gamble low value wins. You are allowed five correct guesses but believe me that's hard to achieve and good wins ca be wasted here.

Conclusion

This is an enjoyable game to play. It has a cartoonish look to it and the soundtrack isn't too irritating. It can get you some good wins during the bonus rounds, just be careful with that gamble feature though.
