Premier Roulette

h2> Premier Roulette Diamond Edition Review

Roulette is one of those games that really gets the blood racing. The process of deciding your numbers and the type of bet, then working out a stake, wishing for good luck and hoping that the wheel comes up with a result that will give you a profit. You don't need to go down the local casino now though, just switch your PC on and play Microgaming's 'Premier Roulette' in the comfort of your own home.

With this being a Microgaming release you just know that it's a game that will look and sound good. That's the case here and it certainly makes playing the game more enjoyable.

The bottom half of the screen is filled with the betting table. All the numbers to choose from are here. This is the European version of Roulette so that means just the green 0 no double 00's here. This is important as it means your chances of winning are a little better. Anything that reduces the house edge is always good to see.

The all-important roulette wheel can be seen at the top half of the screen. There's a zoom facility available to the left of the wheel and also you can change the speed at which the wheel spins. You can either play at regular speed or go for the turbo option. To the right of the roulette wheel there are some handy statistics available that give you information about recent numbers.

Setting your stake for the game is really simple. All the chips are below the game table and it's just a question of working out how much you want to play on each spin of the wheel. You can play this from as little as £0.25 a spin so if it's just a bit of fun you're looking for then this is ideal.

Simply select your chip size and then click on the table. Choosing your number and the type of bet you want to place is really easy too. On the left hand side of the betting table are some more complex options such as red or black splits. Pressing the expert button in the bottom right hand side of the screen brings up some even more complex bets, a few I've never even heard of. If you're not too sure about how to play the game and want to know just what a snake is then just check out the game rules and have some free games to help build up your roulette experience.

Once you've worked out your stake and placed your bets, it's time to press the spin button and watch that wheel begin to spin and will hopefully bring you some luck.

Conclusion

Another great roulette release from Microgaming. The game looks good which is important and the soundtrack didn't have me reaching for the mute button. It's good to see that there are some more complex bets available in this game, just make sure you fully understand anything that you place a bet on and have fun.
