European Roulette Review

Round and round the ball goes and no one knows where it's going to land. That's the appeal of roulette as we all hope that little ball is going to end up on a number that will make us a tidy profit. But where do you play it? Do you go down the local casino with all the expense that entails or do you sit in the comfort of your own home and play European Roulette on your pc or mobile device, either way fun is guaranteed and hopefully some decent wins too.

European Roulette comes from 1x2 Gaming who were established 12 years ago and have turned Brighton into Silicon Beach. They produce some excellent casino games and this is definitely one of them.

Roulette is one of those games that looks pretty straightforward but is a bit more complicated than that. If you want to you can just put a certain amount of money on one of the numbers that range between 0 and 36. That's the easy way but the chances of you getting a win are obviously not that great.

Just like when playing the lottery you may well have your lucky number(s) that you believe will get you some big wins. If you want to in this game you can just keep on playing the same numbers so after one game is over you just press 'spin' and hopefully your lucky number(s) will truly live up to their name. If you want to though you can just press the 'clear all bets' button and place one or two new bets, cross your fingers and then press the spin button,

Actually operating the game isn't too difficult at all. On the right of the board there are some chips that you can bet with. These come in varying amounts ranging from £0.25 all the way up to £100. A wide range but once you get to £10, the levels go up quite rapidly to £25, £50 and then £100. Simply choose a level you are comfortable with and can afford to lose. To make your choice all you have to do is click on the chip that you want to stake on the next spin.

Then you just need to place your bets on the number board. It's a fairly easy process and you just need to click the bet spot that you want. Each click adds another chip to the stack and they 'colour up' to the next higher chip value. If you do make a mistake or just change your mind on the number you want to bet on, you simply need to click the 'clear single bet' button to remove all the bets or place the 'X' on the chip you wish to no longer stake.

There are several types of bets that you an place. Firstly there's the Inside Bets that you can make. Just going for one number is known as a Straight Bet, putting your chip(s) between two numbers is a Split Bet. A Three Numbers Bet is placed to the left of a row of numbers and adding one more number is a Corner Bet. A Six Numbers Bet is placed in between two rows of numbers.

As there are some Inside Bets, it makes sense that there are Outside ones too. It's possible to place a bet that covers an entire category of results. All you need to do is place your cursor over any of the bet areas and this highlights the corresponding numbers that will be covered on the number board.

You can bet on whether the winning number will be the first, second or third 12 and whether it'll be odd or even red or black or 1-18 or 19-36.

All the odds can be found in the paytable with all the other rules. Some pay really well, a winning Straight Bet pays a tasty 35 to 1 while a Corner Bet sees a return of 8-1.

Keeping track of the winning numbers isn't a problem. There's a record of the results of the last ten spins showing the number and colour. You can also see your own Bet History, just click on the history button at the bottom of the screen.

Conclusion

This is a great little game to play. The look of the game is a good one and the bonus is you don't have to put up with all those presenters you get on television waffling on forever. Definitely recommended.
