Big Bad Wolf

Big Bad Wolf Slot Game Review

Now I know there's a bit of a housing crisis but some of the work on these new homes we need are pretty atrocious. That's definitely the case in this slot game from Quickspin. It's the story of the three little pigs (or as a friend of mine calls them 'bacon in waiting') and the problems they're having with the Big Bad Wolf who definitely fancies having them for his dinner.

The graphics in this game are quite impressive as we see the under-threat pigs trying to live a quiet life in their orchard home. It looks as if they're being quite tidy and not turning it into a pig sty. However that wolf is causing them many a problem with his huffing and puffing and he keeps managing to blow at least part of their house down. That's bad news for the pigs and they'll have to watch even more DIY programmes on television to sort the problem out. However it's good news for us players.

This is a five reel game with 25 paylines for you to try and win some cash on. It can be played from between £0.25 and £250. That's a really wide betting range but it means you're bound to find a level that will fit in perfectly with your financial budget. As the wins start to flow you can gradually increase your stake.

Symbols in this game include the pigs, the moon, a Big Bad Wolf, a beehive and the ten to Ace playing card symbols.

The regular wild in this game is the beehive, why three pigs have a beehive is beyond me. Anyway this can substitute for other game symbols apart from those that get you into bonus rounds or the multiplier wilds.

The pigs can also turn wild if you keep getting winning combinations. After your second win, one pig turns wild. After your fourth win, two turn wild and when you get six wins all three pigs become wild. That really increases your chances of getting winning combinations.

Really helpful are the swooping wilds. When you get a winning combination the symbols that created that win suddenly blow away. The symbols are then replaced by the ones above that swoop down into their new positions. This carries on until you don't get a winning combination.

The control buttons for this game are down the bottom of the screen. It's possible to set an autoplay of up to 500 automated spins.

Bonus Games

If you can get three or more of the Big Bad Wolf symbols then this gets you ten free spins. It's possible to retrigger the free spins and wins are tripled during the free spins.

Included in this free spins round is the Blowing Down the House feature. Keep an eye out for the moon symbol. Once you've collected three of these then you are awarded two free spins. Six of them allow the Big Bad Wolf to blow down the brick house (a nice trick if you can do it) and you also get two additional spins and a 2x multiplier.

Conclusion

There's plenty of fun to be had in this game and the graphics are really enjoyable to look at. The bonus round and the swooping wilds can bring in some good wins too.
