The symbols in the main have an oriental theme. There's a Chinese lantern, some bells, fans and a lovely looking temple.

The designers ran out of ideas at that point and decided to fill the rest of the reels with the nine to Ace playing cards. The game does have a pleasant look to it though with a colourful background with cherry blossom trees to the left and right of the reels with a lovely looking blue sky. The soundtrack fits in well with the theme too.
There is a gamble feature in this game which again is a bit of a lazy moment by the game developers. It's the usual chance to double your win if correctly guessing the colour of the next card or quadrupling it if you can guess the next suit. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the theme of the game which is a bit of a wasted opportunity. You can win some decent amounts in this feature but be careful and don't fall into the trap of trying one gamble too many.

Bonus Game
If you can get three or more of the Cherry Blossoms scatter symbols on the reels, then this gets you into the bonus round.
