It sounds like the local Chinese Takeaway but this is in fact another slot game release from NextGen. Eastern Dragon is a five reel slot game that has 20 paylines for you to try and win on. The paylines aren't fixed so it's your decision just how many you will activate for each spin of the reels and how much you are going to be gambling. The range available goes from £0.01 to £100 so it's fairly wild and should easily accommodate your financial budget.
The symbols in the game are fairly basic and there's only one of them that is dragon related. In the background you can see some Chinese building and a couple of dragons. To the left and right of the reels are some firecrackers.
Symbols include a Chinese paper lantern, koi carp, a lotus flower and more firecrackers. There's also the nine to Ace playing card symbols. The koi carp is the symbol to look out for as five of these gets you 3000x your stake.
The Dragon finally makes an appearance as the wild symbol in this game. It's a bit shy though and only appears on the first and fifth reels. This substitutes for all the other symbols with the exception of the scatter symbol. If it does help create a winning combination then that win is doubled. The gold coin is the scatter symbol in this game and if you can get five of them this pays 200x your stake.
All the control buttons are down the bottom of the screen and this is an easy game to operate. There is an autoplay feature and if you use the advanced mode . The advanced mode brings up a box that allows you to quickly set your stake level and number of paylines you're playing. This box also gives you the the opportunity to set your own levels. This includes the ability to stop the autoplays when you have a certain win

The bonus feature in this game is centred around free spins. Usually it's the scatter symbol that triggers the bonus round but here it's the wild. If you get the dragon on both the first and fifth reels then this gets you 15 free spins. During these free spins any wins you get are tripled and it's also possible to retrigger the free spins. You can get some decent wins out of this bonus round so it's well worth triggering.
Conclusion
This is a pretty basic game but you can get some decent wins out of it which is the most important factor I guess. The theme is one that NextGen have used before but it could have been used a lot better in my opinion. Let's get some dragons breathing fire on the reels rather than having some great big firecrackers on either side of the reels. There are better games around but it's worth a visit.
