Wouldn't you just love to have a genie who could grant you three wishes? Untold wealth, my favourite team winning the league and a few judges on Strictly Come Dancing suddenly disappearing wouldn't be a bad trio of wishes I reckon. Well you can't quite get that in this slot game but there are plenty of chances to get some good wins in 'Genie Wild.'

Symbols in the game are a green gem, a chest full of gold coins, a monkey and a bowl of fruit. There’s also the nine to Ace lower value symbols which is a bit excessive to be honest, give us more theme related symbols.
The wild in this game is the genie of course and can substitute for all other symbols aside from the scatter symbol which is the bottle, or as she calls it ‘home.’. Five of the wild symbols on a payline get you the top prize of 5000x your line bet.
There is a nice touch with the phrases that come up under the reels such as ‘May all your wishes come true’ and ‘she’s a real gem.’
Bonus Games
The bonus round here is of the free spins variety. You need three of the bottle scatter symbols to trigger this and win yourself ten free spins. To increase your chances of getting some good wins the genie symbol is an expanding wild during the free spins. Unfortunately you can’t re-trigger the free spins.
There’s also a gamble feature in this game which is the usual playing card one. After each win in the base game you can double it by guessing the right colour of the next card or the suit to quadruple a win. Be careful with this and don’t waste good wins on the gamble feature.
Conclusion
This is an enjoyable game with plenty of opportunities to get some good wins. The bonus round is a good one with the expanding wilds being really helpful. It'd be good to have those free spins re-triggered though. Also a couple more theme-related symbols would have been handy rather than filling the reels up with the nine to Ace.
