Party Line

Party Line Slot Review

Who's up for a party then? The invites have been sent out and if you take up the offer and play the Party Line slot game from Playtech you're guaranteed a good time. Playtech produce some excellent slot games from Marvel themed ones such as Fantastic Four and Iron Man but this is a little bit different from those superhero influenced epics.

It's a bit of a trip back in time because there's only three reels and one payline. This is just like those games that could be seen all over the amusement arcades and in your local pub and club. There's no fruit here though or any bells or 7s, because this is party time everyone.

The cost of playing the game varies from £0.05 to £5 for coin size. You then have to decide whether to press the Bet One button at the bottom of the screen, go for two coins or press the Bet Max to put the maximum bet of £15 on each spin of the reels. Simply go for a stake that reflects your financial budget and how the game is going. Perhaps bet low to start with, get some wins and then gradually increase your stake.

The symbols in this game are all theme related which is always good to see. No playing cards here but we do have a saxophone, keyboard, boombox and a party hat that always make you look a right prat but can win you the top prize in this game. There are also red, blue and yellow filled glasses that are the lower paying symbols in the game. No part of the game but adding to its theme are some balloons, one of which floats around the screen. Thankfully I wasn't asked to blow them up as I'm pretty useless at that.

The paytable for the game is visible in the top right hand corner of the game. No need for a second screen as there are only eight different winning combinations in this rather simple but enjoyable game. When you do get a winning combination a woman shouts "It's Party Time" which at most parties I've been too would normally be followed by a rather drunken hiccup.

The winning combinations are any of the three drinks, three yellow drinks, three blue drinks, three red drinks, three boombox symbols, three keyboards, three saxophones and the top prize in this game is for three of the green party hats and if betting at the maximum bet this wins you 4000x.

Playing the game is straightforward enough and there's a handy button in the top right of the screen that gives you options such as game history, full rules of the game and autoplay.

Conclusion

This is a real throwback to the days when you had just a spin of the reels an one payline on three reels to win on. It's not that easy to get wins on but when they do come along it's worth it as the lowest win is 5x for betting one coin on the lowest level. Some will miss the thrill of all the bonus games and wilds but wins are always entertaining aren't they?
