Pinocchio’s Fortune

Pinochio's Fortune Slot Review

Ever since I saw a version of this story in a Two Ronnies Christmas Special, I’ve always had a few different thoughts about Pinocchio. Thankfully in this slot from Microgaming the little puppet who became a boy is a little bit more innocent, even if perhaps he doesn’t always tell the truth.

This is a bright and cheerful game with five reels, three rows of symbols and a total of 30 fixed paylines. The reels are set inside a wooden frame, Gepetto will probably turn it into something else sooner or later. Playing the game costs you between £0.30 and £90, that’s a decent range and is suitable for those just playing for fun and others looking to win some big cash prizes.

Symbols in the game include school books, Gepetto a cigar, a carving tool, gold coins, a gold key, Gepetto’s workshop and a pool ball. Not quite sure why there’s a pool ball but there is one.

The wild symbol here is the Pinocchio puppet and this can substitute for other symbols to get you winning combinations. It’s not able to do that for the two scatter symbols, one of which is another Pinocchio symbol and a little fairy. They both help you get into the bonus games.

There is a fair amount happening in this game so it’s definitely a good idea to look at the paytable. That has all the information you need to know about the game. Some free games will be really useful as this allows you to see the game in action.

Bonus Games

Lovers of bonus games are in for a treat here with three of them in 'Pinocchio's Fortune.' Firstly, there’s the Find Geppetto Bonus. You need to get three of the fairy symbols to trigger this, remember this symbol only appears on the second, third and fourth reels. Once triggered a board game comes up and you have a total of four spins to get as far along the path as you possibly can. While you’re doing this there is the chance to earn some cash prizes, multipliers, bonuses and free spins. The top prize awaits you if you can actually get all the way to the final square.

We also have the Pinocchio Nose Bonus which is a free spins round. To get into this you need at least three of the Pinocchio scatter symbols to end up anywhere on the reels at the end of a spin. This wins you eight free spins if there are three scatter symbols, ten if it’s four and five award you 12 free spins. During the free spins round each scatter symbol that turns up will cause Pinocchio’s nose to get a little bit longer. Each scatter is worth one pick on another screen that has boxes for you to choose from with each containing a prize.

Finally, there’s the Puppet Bonus. Some of the symbols on the third, fourth and fifth reels have a small puppet symbol. If three of these turn up on the same spin then this bonus is triggered. There are two puppets and you need to choose one of them. One awards you a cash prize, the other turns one reel totally wild and a respin.

Conclusion

A lot's happening in this game and all of it is good. You won't have to be a Disney fan to like this game and the bonus opportunities definitely give you plenty of chances to make a profit.
