Adventure Palace

Adventure Palace Review

Time for an exotic adventure in the jungle in this game from the extremely successful Microgaming Software company. I’m not quite sure what the adventure is here and aside from the temple, there’s no sign of a palace,

This is a standard five reel game with nine paylines available to play. The minimum bet per line is £0.01 per spin and the maximum £1. You can bet five coins on a line so that makes for a maximum bet of £45. Only go that high if you can afford to lose it. In all there’s 38 different winning combinations in this game and a maximum payout of £10,000 now that really is an adventure to look forward to. To win that you need to get five elephants on an active payline.

The symbols used in the game include a Temple, snake, elephant, tiger, ape, peacock and playing cards with a leaf to give them a slightly weak jungle touch. The wild symbol is the elephant and if he forms part of a winning line then it’ll double your win. That’s not the only nice touch because when the elephant does complete a win for you, he flaps his trunk (I’m assuming the elephant is male, the graphics aren’t that detailed) and we hear his familiar cry too. The same goes for the roaring tiger and the birds who love to flap their wings when you get a win, perhaps it’s their version of a begging letter.

That’s not all though, because a win in regular play can be doubled-up if you take advantage of the gamble feature. It’s not really related to the theme just a choice to be made whether the next card turned over is going to be red or black or a particular feature.

Playing the game is relatively straightforward with the control buttons down at the bottom of the screen. There is an autoplay button where you can set up to 500 spins if you want to. Handy if you want to pop off and make a cup of tea and get a surprise when you get back and your account balance has gone up.

The view pays button is on the right hand side of the screen. It’s handy to have a look through this to learn all you can about the game. A few demo plays to get used to ‘Adventure Palace’ is useful too.

Bonus Features

If you want to get some really good wins and get those animals flapping and roaring away, you need to get into the Free Spins bonus round. You simply need three of the scatter temple symbols on a line and away you go. There’s 15 free spins and your wins get tripled plus there’s the chance to get even more free spins if another line with three more temples on a line.

This is a fairly entertaining game to play and there’s the chance to win some good cash prizes too. The sound affects add to the theme when you get wins and the double up feature and free spins bonus provide plenty of entertainment too.
