Arctic Agents

Arctic Agents Slots Review

They must be a bit short of applicants up in the Arctic because they seem to have penguins and polar bears as secret agents. Whether they're up to the job of catching other spies is questionable but they could win you some great cash prizes in this video slots game from Microgaming.

Microgaming have been coming up with a seemingly never ending list of great video slots games over the past couple of decades and this is another entertaining and profitable game. It's a five-reel non-progressive slot game and has nine paylines. The betting range in 'Arctic Agents' goes from £0.01 to £22.50. This isn't therefore a game for the big hi-rollers out there but whatever you gamble just make sure it's one you can afford to lose and won't spoil your enjoyment of the game.

The symbols in this game are a mixture of those that are theme-related and the usual Jack to Ace playing cards. At least they are boosted a little bit by the addition of crowns and other regal implements. The game-related symbols have cute cartoon-like graphics and include a popgun-toting penguin, some villainous arctic fox robbers, a Polar Bear with a Fez on (perhaps he's a Tommy Cooper fan) and a killer whale who's added to his already fearsome look by going out and buying a torpedo. The ice pyramid is the scatter symbol in this game. There's no wild symbol in this game which is a bit of a disappointment.

Bonus Features

Every spy has to find the secret base of their arch-enemy and this game is no exception. If you can get three or more of the scatter symbols on the reels, then this gets you into the bonus game. Your task here is to help discover just where the secret base is hidden. First you have to choose from one of the five arctic agents and this will decide just how many free spins and multipliers you'll receive.

Also if that scatter symbol ends up on reels one and five during the free spins then a random prize is on its way to you and this could be as high as a 50x multiplier. Sadly you're not able to retrigger the free spins during the bonus game.

There's also a gamble option which is one of those games where you have to either choose what colour the next card will be or what the suit will be of the next card. With the red or black bet you can double your money and with the suit challenge you can quadruple that win you've just had. It's not a total win or loss situation because if you want too you can only gamble half of your win. The gambling can carry on until you reach the gamble limit.

Conclusion

This is a fast moving game and the cute symbols really make it enjoyable to look at. The bonus games are entertaining and can provide you with some decent wins. This may not be one for the high rollers out there but there's still plenty of fun and profits to be made in this chilly classic.
