Gold Factory

Gold Factory Slot Review

What would it be like in a world where everything was gold. Well King Midas went down that route and we all know what happened to him. Gold remains a great theme for any slot game and that’s definitely the case in this slot from Microgaming That company has been putting out a whole string of great games for a couple of decades and there’s no sign of them stopping.

This is a five-reel game that has 50 paylines. Now there’s a few decisions to be made before you spin those reels. There’s the coin size for starters, the number of lines you want to activate and the number of coins on each of those lines. In all the minimum cost of playing the game is £0.01 and the maximum £100. Simply work a financial budget out and stick to it while enjoying the game.

The symbols for the game are all reflecting the theme of gold. It’s gold here, there and everywhere with a gold train, golden coins, golden bars, a golden submarine (posher than a yellow one), a wooden cart that’s filled with gold, the owner of the gold mine and the golden factory itself.

The Gold Factory is the wild symbol in this game and can substitute for the majority of other symbols in order to get some winning combinations. It doesn’t substitute for the scatter symbol which is the golden coin.
This game can be played in ordinary or expert mode. The only real difference is the ability to set an autoplay. Underneath the reels is also the Stat button which can show stats such as how long you’ve been playing and your biggest win.

Bonus Games

There are several bonus games in 'Gold Factory.' If you can get at least three of the scatter symbols anywhere on the reels this triggers the Gold Factory Bonus round. A good thought here is the fact that because the scatters can be anywhere on the reels, this means you don't have to activate all 50 of the paylines if you can't afford to. Once the game is triggered, you have to pick four of the 17 items shown. If you reveal either the free spins or reactor bonus symbol then this takes you to the second level.

Finding the free spins symbol can earn you between ten and 35 free spins and all wins are doubled. The number of free spins you get is determined by the two single digits that appear on two screens. You can't re-trigger the free spins though. If it's the reactor bonus symbol you reveal then this gets you into the reactor bonus round. You have items to choose from and can keep on doing so until the reactor symbol is revealed again. Finding the malfunction symbol ends the game but you do get a 1x prize for each of the remaining symbols.

Conclusion

There's plenty to enjoy in this game. The theme is a good one and well adhered to so a gold medal for that. The bonus rounds are fairly straightforward but can be profitable so no moans there. Make sure you read the rules though to make sure you know exactly what's going on.
