Hitman

Hitman Slot Review

There may well be some people out there that you don’t like but hiring a hitman is a bit extreme to be honest. This is another slot from those guys at Microgaming who just seem to be able to pump out great games time after time.

It’s a bit of a dark theme here and that makes a change from all those jolly and happy games out there. Agent 47 is the deadly assassin who will do your dirty work for you for a price. This is a five-reel game that has a total of 15 paylines. Now this isn’t a fixed amount so you have to decide just how many of those lines to activate and the stake on each line. The minimum cost of playing this is £0.01 and the maximum £75. Simply choose a stake you can afford to lose because if losing means you can’t pay your bills the missus might be hiring a hitman.

Symbols in the game include enough weaponry to give a customs officer a heart attack. There’s guns, knives, rifles, pistols and machine guns along with dollar bills and the Agent 47 symbol.

A highlight of the game is the animation with the symbols, especially for the hitman himself. We see him loading his gun and rifle and that’s bad news for the next person on his list. The moody soundtrack certainly adds to the enjoyment of the game.

The wild symbol in this game is the Hitman and will substitute for other symbols to get you some winning combinations. There’s even better news if he pops up on the second to fifth reels as he expands and covers all the reels.

The number 18 ball is the scatter symbol and as you’ll read this plays a big part in triggering the free spins bonus round.

It's a reasonably straightforward game to play but take a good look through the rules and the paytable. That and some free games will have you fully prepared for the battle against the Hitman.

Bonus Games

In order to get some free spins you need to get three or more of the scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. This gives you a decent 18 free spins to play with. Even better all your wins during the free spins round are doubled.

There’s also the Contract Bonus for you try and trigger. This needs three or more of the Laptop symbols to appear. Again this is anywhere on the reels so that’s handy if you don’t want to be activating all the paylines on a regular basis. In this game you have five potential targets and it’s your job to choose a weapon which you’ll then aim at your chosen target. You can win some multipliers and free spins here.

The Insignia Bonus can be activated by getting the Insignia symbols on the first three reels. This is a pick ‘em bonus round and you simply choose one of the symbols to get a mystery prize.

Conclusion

The theme to this game is a really enjoyable one, though not for whoever it is who's going to end up getting shot. It's an easy game to play and the bonus games can really get you some good wins. Highly recommended.
