Oriental Fortune

Oriental Fortune Slot Review

There have been numerous slot games that use the Far East as their theme. They always seem to be very popular and that’s definitely the case with ‘Oriental Fortune’, another hit game from the successful company Micrograming.

It’s difficult to find new ways of presenting the theme but this is rather enjoyable game with a good look to it.

‘Oriental Fortune’ is a five-reel game that contains three rows of symbols and has a total of just five paylines. Don’t let that put you off though because there are still some good wins to be had here.

This is one of the earlier Microgaming slot games and they’ve made huge strides since this came out. It does show the huge promise that the company had even at that stage in their career.

Playing the game costs between £0.25 and £25, perhaps not one for the high rollers out there.

There’s no backdrop to the game but the symbols are attractive ones. We get a Koi carp, a golden dragon, the Oriental Fortune logo, a temple and a green and red dragon. We also get the ten to King playing card symbols. Not sure what’s happened to the Ace perhaps it didn’t have a valid passport.

Look out for the Oriental Fortune logo as that is the highest paying symbol in this game. Five of those on an active payline pays 5000x your line stake. Now that’s definitely an Oriental fortune

The wild symbol in this game is the Geisha Girl. Just as in real life she’s really helpful and can substitute for all the other symbols in this game to get you a win.

Even though this isn’t the most action packed game you’ll ever play, it’s still an idea to look through the paytable. That will give you all the information you need to know about the game. Have some free plays to in order to get used to seeing the game in action before playing the game for real.

The game can be played in regular mode or expert mode. The only real difference is that in the expert mode you can set an autoplay. That's handy if you want to take some time away from the reels of just get a bit bored having to continually press the spin button.

Bonus Game

Sadly there isn’t a bonus game in this slot. A bit disappointing really and those of you who love your free spins and multipliers won’t be delighted at this news.

Conclusion

A bit disappointing really. It’s a good game and the theme is treated well. The symbols are a bit basic but the soundtrack is a relaxing one that won't have you reaching for the mute button. You’ll be cheering if you can get the jackpot but there’s just not much happening here. The wild symbol can get you a steady flow of wins but the lack of a scatter and bonus games, even a gamble feature lets the game down a bit.
