The Osbournes

The Osbournes Slot Review

When reality TV started rearing its pretty or ugly head depending on your opinion, The Osbournes were leading characters with their MTV series. At times it could well have been called ‘Family Behaving Badly’ with swear words galore, arguments all over the house and dogs seemingly doing what they wanted.

Here we have a slot version from Microgaming who continue to put out some great games time after time. Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly are all here and looking at the symbols representing them, they should have copied that and saved on the plastic surgery.

The game has five reels, three rows of symbols and a total of 20 paylines. The paylines aren’t fixed so it’s up to you to decide just how many you activate for each spin of the reels. Just go for a stake you can afford to lose and the minimum cost per spin is £0.01 and the maximum £200 so high rollers out there will be keen to play this. Perhaps they’ll win enough to get a mansion like Ozzy’s.

Symbols aside from the rather better looking images of the infamous four, we get a microphone, a guitar, an award and a picture frame. The Osbournes logo is the wild symbol here, this can substitute for most of the other symbols aside from the bonus symbols. Those are Mini the Dog and the door knocker. They play a big part in triggering the bonus games as will be revealed shortly.

Take a look through the paytable to find out more about the game. Then have some free games to see the game in action, that can be really helpful.

Bonus Games

If you can get three of the dog scatter symbols anywhere on the reels then this gets you into Mini’s Free Spin Trail Bonus. You receive ten free spins and the big bonus here is that all wins during the free spins are doubled. During the feature you’ll notice a trail with a member of the Osbourne family at five space intervals. When Mini lands on the second, third or fourth reels then you go one place along the trail. If you can reach one of the members of this infamous family then you get a prize and the free spins you have goes back to ten.

The Knock Knock Bonus is triggered when three or more of the door knocker scatter symbols land anywhere on the reels. Your simple task now is to select one of the knockers on the reels and you win a random multiplier of your stake that could be as high as 5x.

There’s also the Grab A Gift Bonus which is awarded randomly. With this you have to stop the flashing light on the gift you most want to win. There’s four of them and they have multipliers that could be as high as 30x your stake.

Conclusion

There’s certainly a lot going on in this game. The theme is a good one unless you absolutely despise this family and their loud madcap behaviour. The bonus games aren’t too hard to trigger and they can definitely be profitable if you can land some decent multipliers and free spins.
