Such was the success of 'Avalon' that Microgaming produced a sequel. It's not always the case that sequels prove to be better than the original but that's definitely the case here.
Microgaming have been producing some great slots game for a fair while now and their games can be seen on many an online casino. We're back in the days of King Arthur and this time he needs to find the Holy Grail and bring it back to Avalon. There's no Monty Python influences here, this is deadly serious stuff as indicated by the powerful background music.
The introduction indicates how awesome this game is. The map containing brief details of the bonus rounds does look a bit like that used in Game of Thrones.
This is a 3D five reel game with 243 different ways to get a winning combination. You can play it from £0.30 up to £7.50. Symbols include King Arthur, Queen Guinivere, Morgan, a goblet, the Lady of the Lake and the 9 to Ace playing cards which is a bit of a waste really but at least Jack-King and Queen have been given a regal look.
The wild symbol here is the goblet and this will multiply your win and can pay out regardless of what position it ends up in.
As well as the many bonus games there's also the Merlin feature. He can turn up at any time and that includes after a non-winning spin where it can give you a cash prize. The main feature in this game is the Grail Bonus which has no less than eight bonus games contained in it. To get into this treasure trove of bonus games you need to get three or more of the Grail symbols anywhere on the reels. Now it's time to take a profitable journey through the kingdom as you search for the Grail in order to take it back to Avalon.
The Lake of Legend Bonus all comes down to the roll of a dice as you attempt to put together the segments that make up Excalibur. If the number on the dice and the sword fragment number match then you're on the way to getting some tasty multipliers
Up next is the Misty Value Bonus feature and you need to choose a symbol to be wild during your 15 free spins. This will have a 2x multiplier during the free spins.
