The Rat Pack

The Rat Pack Slot Review

You can’t walk into a charity shop without seeing a compilation album full of great songs from the Rat Pack. The Hollywood group famously included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr, talent personified but represented here in a rather different way.

A bit like a Disney adaptation, this band of musicians actually are rats! That makes for a slot that certainly brings a smile to your face and hopefully some profits in your pockets.

It’s a bright and colourful game and in the background we can see stage lights as the Rat Pack are either preparing for their next concert or have found some left over cheese they fancy. ‘The Rat Pack’ has a total of five reels, four rows of symbols and 30 paylines. That’s not a fixed amount so it’s up to you to decide how many to play and your stake. The minimum cost is £0.01 and the maximum £300 so high rollers (which I guess Martin, Sinatra and Davis Jr were) will appreciate this game.

The five main symbols in the game are the ratty performers with a pianist, three crooners and a female duo. There’s also the ten to Ace playing card symbols.

It’s the Rat Pack logo that is the wild symbol in this game and it can substitute for other symbols to get you some winning combinations. The big bonus is that when this happens all wins are doubled. It’s not able to substitute for the golden disc scatter symbol which plays a pivotal part in triggering the bonus game and even more important during it. More about that soon.

To learn more about the game access the paytable. There's lots of information here including details of how much winning combinations pay and the bonus game. Also have some free games to get used to playing the game without having to pay anything for the privilege.

Bonus Games

There’s a free spins game here but one that is slightly different to the ones you’re probably oh so used to playing. To trigger it you need at least three of the gold disc scatter symbols to appear anywhere on the reels. Just how many free spins you receive depends on the gold disc.

When the free spins begin each time a gold disc appears anywhere on the reels you get an additional spin. Not just that but the gold disc stays where it is for another spin and then nudges down one reel at a time until disappearing off the screen.

When you do get a win in the base game there’s a chance to win some more via the gamble feature. It’s not compulsory so if you want just go onto the next spin. If you do take up the gamble then you simply have to correctly guess the colour of the next card to double your win or be even braver and try and get the next suit correct to quadruple your win. Just be careful with this because if you make a wrong guess all your winnings disappear.

Conclusion

There are certainly some laughs to be had with this game and some healthy profits as well. Keep an eye out for that golden disc and the wild that can get you double wins. Be careful with that gamble feature though, keep the wins not lose them.
