Penguin Splash

Penguin Splash Slot Review

Aren’t penguins adorable? Well I think so and even you doubters out there will be charmed if they get you some good wins. ‘Penguin Splash’ comes from Microgaming and it’s another one of their games that is a big hit.

The look of the game is fantastic. On the left hand side of the screen we have five penguins sitting on blocks of ice. There’s a fair amount of animation going on with them which is fun to look at. On the right hand side of the screen are the all-important reels and they are set in ice.

There’s five-reels with three rows of symbols and a total of 25 paylines. You don’t have to activate all of them if you don’t want too. The cost of playing the game runs from £0.01 all the way up to £50. Just work your financial budget out, stick to it and enjoy playing the game.

The rather jolly symbols in this game include a walrus, a seal, a whale and a polar bear. Then we get the ten to Ace playing card symbols.

The wild symbol is the fish and this can substitute for other symbols to get you some wins out of nowhere. It can’t substitute for the penguin which is the scatter symbol as that would make it far easier to get into the bonus round.

To ensure you know as much about the game as possible, access the paytable and game rules. That'll improve your knowledge of the game and how it works. If then you have some free games then you'll see just how all the bonus games play out without having to spend a penny.

Bonus Games

You could win as many as 25 free spins in the bonus round. To trigger it you need to get three of the penguin symbols anywhere on the reels. Then it gets really interesting because a random number of penguins will now jump into the water and leap towards the reels. Each dive and high-dive gets you five free spins so if they all dive then it’s 25 free spins that you’ve just been given. All wins during the free spins round are doubled. It’s possible to get more free spins if those penguins turn up again on the reels.

There’s the usual gamble feature here but please be careful with it. When you get a win in the base game the option to gamble is there. Either go for it or just turn the offer down and get on with the next spin of the reels. The gamble feature sees you having to guess the colour or suit of the next card to either double or quadruple your win. You’re allowed five correct guesses but get one wrong though and you lose your win so be wary.

Conclusion

This is a great game to play and really enjoyable to look at. The bonus games are fun to play and with the wins doubled you can really get some good wins. Don't waste your wins in the gamble feature though.
